Implementing a 'public' TeamSite installation

Hi Devnetters -

We're considering a TeamSite implementation for development use by a number of remote creative agencies, which could be located just about anywhere in the world.

While this could provide a big boost for us in coordinating our work that comes from external sources, it also could open up a Pandora's box of access and security issues.

If anyone reading this has researched or attempted an implementation such as this, I'd like to hear what your experiences / findings were.
