cross tab page break..

Hi,

I am new in Birt 2.3. i want to know how I can page break in cross tab.. For example in cross tab i have 100 rows. I want After 20 rows page break and new page start. Can any body tell me how i can do this.

Hi Qadeeralvi,

List type items are the only report items that you can set a page break interval for, so crosstabs won't have that option. With crosstabs, you can only set up page breaks on rows and columns based on dimension changes....and of course the before and after.

Setting the before and/or after page break won't help you get your page break at 20 rows. There is currently no way to do that. It'll just start the crosstab on a new page if you select the page break for before, or starts the rest of your report on a new page after the crosstab if you select the after page break.

Since the crosstab is not a list type of element, they can not be currently limited to 20 rows per page in BIRT. If you had the know how, you could possibly go into BIRT's open source code and change it to meet your needs, but the current functionality does not support this.
