Upgrading to BIRT 2.3 from 2.2

Hi,
I have added few reports using BIRT 2.2 into my existing web application. What would I have to in order to update to the latest BIRT 2.3 version. Do I have to update the platform, configuration folders and all the jars used by BIRT 2.3. Whats the best way to achieve this?

Hi Berk123,

BIRT 2.3 should be backwards compatible with BIRT 2.2, so you should just be able to update to the BIRT 2.3 runtime environment.

You might want to pull your report designs into the BIRT 2.3 designer and make sure they all work correctly before completely updating.
