Filter results are blank in 2.3

Reciently we upgraded to V2.3.This has resulted in every field where we used a filter condition, the data now appears blank when it is filtered out. This is a problem for integer and decimal fields. In V2.2 a filtered out field that was an integer or decimal, would appear as a 0 or a 0.00.

How do i get v2.3 to display filtered blanks as 0?
