Teradata & Birt

Hello
I have to read a Teradata file produced in a batch mode overnight to do a report with Birt:
1) Is it advisable this Teradata file to be a .jar file?
2) Can i write this file directly as a SQL "with cube" result to improve the performance with large datasource? Is it advisable?
3) Can someone suggest some texts that explain this issues?

Hi zoso,

Here's a link to a thread from the eclipse.org newsgroup where someone else was using teradata for their datasource.
