upper limit on Textarea in DCR

Hi all

Is there any upper limit on the number of characters a textarea (that we have in our DCR ) can have.

Is it 2000 charcters?

I don't know about an upper limit.
I use a textarea where you can put 12000 character and it works fine.
And it is only limited to 12000 because i set the maxlength-arrtibut to that value.
So I think more are possible.

There is no maxlength attribute for textareas (though I believe it's been proposed in the w3c.org).
Textareas are limited in length by whatever restrictions HTML imposes and/or further constrained by either validation-regex's or FormAPI / javascript code to perform validations when the contents have been changed or are about to be submitted.
