Detail row

Hi,
I am trying to limit the Detail Row of a Table in only one row.
(Even the lenght of the cell(s) on it is greater than the space avalaible,
or there are some carriage return or line break also.)

Any help is appreciated.

I am using Birt 2.3,
and what I am looking for is a way to limit the size of Detail Row, in a single row.

Some times the data contained in the Cells of the Detail Row, produce something like that :

ID DESCRIPTION NAME
4 CUSTOMER PIPPO
5 SOMETHING MORE PLUTO
OF A SIMPLE
DESCRIPTION
6 CUSTOMER PAPERINO

In Detail Row with ID 5, I want to limit the row to the first one.

Gabriele,

If you know the longest that the text would be in that column, you could set the width of the column to meet that requirement and you'd always get it on 1 line.
