DNR script
herald10
Hi,
I am trying to deploy to two sets of webservers and afterwards I need to run a DNR script..... could you please tell me if the following configuration okay to do that?
<deployment transactional="yes" >
<execDeploymentTask useDefinition="firstSet"/>
<execDeploymentTask useDefinition="secondSet">
<deployNRun>
<dnrDeployment location="source" when="after" state="success" >
<script cmd="/bin/sh /myscript.sh" as="" where="/mylocation" async="no" >
</script>
</dnrDeployment>
</deployNRun>
<execDeploymentTask/>
</deployment>
TIA.

What version of OpenDeploy are you using?
If you're using 5.6, since you want the DNR to run on the source side - you would probably want to use a dnrDeploymentJob (outside the execDeploymentTask) rather than a dnrDeployment (inside the execDeploymentTask) - so that you can ensure that the DNR gets run only after *both* execDeploymentTasks have finished succesfully.
As you have it right now - the DNR will run whenever the secondSet deployment completes succesfully - regardless of whether or not the firstSet deployment has completed at all, or even failed.
