Get datasource JNDI values at Runtime

Hi All,
We are using a scripted datasource and would like to use the correct SQL string based on the type of database. We define a JNDI datasource for all the reports. I would like to know if there is a way to problematically obtain these values in the beforeOpen or AfterOpen Script blocks.
I have tried this.getDataSource().getAllExtensionProperties(), but this only returns what was defined in the design files. In our env, we replace these with the globally defined values at run time.
