No "Available Items" listed in JDBC Data Set

I have defined a BIRT JDBC Data Source. The Data Source test connection works.
But as I want to create Data Set using this JDBC Data Source, the wizard does not list any "Available Items". Even if I type the SQL Query manually, it cannot recognize tables.
I am confused...
