Iportal server in BIRT Report designer

HI friends,

Am new to BIRT and Iportal server.
I read the guide provide for iportal which includes the installation steps of iportal.I installed iportal.
Now i can see the iServer express.
But the prblm is how could i deploy from report designer to iServer.

I dono how to integrate Report designer of BIRT with iServer.
I want to see the icon of iServer in server window of BIRT Report Designer.

Can u help pls....it may sound silly......
but it's more important for pples who are learning newly......

Actuate BIRT report designer professional comes with a plugin that you can use to deploy BIRT reports. Check out the following tutorial:

You can also use the iServer Express mangement console to upload your reports to the server.

I used Iserver console mgmt for uploading reports....
as u said....
but wen i try to see my reports....in Iserver Exxpress it shows the error as...

"3301-ERROR READING REPORT FILE PARAMETERS"

but i dint use any parameters.....

wat should i do..

Does your report run in BIRT designer? What data source are you using?

Sounds like you have uploaded a BIRT 2.3 report to the Actuate 9 iServer Express. iServer Express Version 9 SP3 of iServer Express supports BIRT 2.2.2 and lower. 
 
iServer Express version 10 supports BIRT 2.3 reports. You can download a pre-release Milestone build of the software from here:
