Importing images
Mich
I import an image from my desktop but when viewing the image in TeamSite it shows a red cross. The image has the same permissions and users as other images that are viewable. Any ideas?

check the properties of the red x, that means the webserver could nto find the image. usually a path problem or filename, extension, etc
also what type of file is it ? I have had troubles with shtml file (server side html), if it is an shtml, there are special configurations required in the admin manual

I am assuming you are seeing the red cross when you click on the file link within the Teamsite GUI.
When you view an image by clicking within the TeamSite GUI, you go through the proxy, which then forwards your HTTP request to your webserver (the "customer webserver"). There are several things you can check:
1. Check your proxy configuration to see if it is correct.
2. Check your webserver (the one used for viewing the website, not the one that comes with TeamSite) to see if the appropriate sites have been set up.
As a cursory try, you can hit your webserver for the asset directly and see if it comes up. By default, the customer webserver is configured during the installation to be port 81. For example:
http://myserver:81/iw-mount/default/main/WORKAREA/mywa/images/myimages.gif
Hope this helps.
