Page Break Problem With PDF
dcoombs
Greetings,
I've created a single-table report with a master page in landscape mode, US Letter. When I run the report viewer from Eclipse BIRT Designer Version 2.2.2.r222_v20071226 Build <2.2.2.v20080227-1131> the PDF generated is perfect. When I run the report from from the web server (tomcat/apache) the pagination is off on the table. It's as if table rows are being printed beneath the footer. I've played with various settings for page break and they only seem to work when running the report directly from Eclipse and not from the web server.
- I am using alternation colors on my tables rows. The alternating colors continue to display past the page footer.
- The rows that print "beneath" the footer are truncated rather than starting the next page.
- This also happens in portrait mode.
Any help is much appreciated.
Thanks!

Hi dcoombs,
If possible, you could try upgrading to BIRT 2.3. Some issues that people were having with 2.2.2 have been fixed in 2.3.
Did you set the page break interval for the table? Or are you just using the default value?

I had played around with the page break interval. Originally it had defaulted to 200 I think. I tried smaller numbers but apparently not small enough. I just tried again and realized that a value <= 26 with my particular design does work.
Thanks!
