STORAGE OF THE XML

Can anybody please tell me about the xml cretaed after the user interface form is filled, where exactly it is stored in the teamsite.

Hi vinylrecord,

Each DCT (Data Capture Template) is categorized by its "category" and "type". The DCT itself is manifested by TeamSite reading a file called a "datacapture.cfg" that is located at:

/WORKAREA/templatedata/category/type/datacapture.cfg

When you use a DCT to create a DCR (Data Capture Record), the DCR is saved in a 'data' directory associated with the category and type. If your category was "news" and your type was "daily", you would expect to see this directory structure:

WORKAREA/templatedata/news/daily/datacapture.cfg
                                /data/DCR_#1
                                /data/DCR_#2
                                /data/DCR_#N
                                /presentation/template_#1

Reading through the introduction sections of the TS admin manual and TS user guide will bring more clarity to the situation.
