SVG PDF support

Hi all,

does anybody know when BIRT will support svg charts in pdf output? Is it planned? Does anybody miss this feature too?

The size of my resulting pdfs is much too large. I currently use charts with a resolution of ~600dpi.

Maybe there is a work around to produce pdfs with charts as svg instead of png?!
