Report starts fresh the first of the month. On the second day of the month the report should contain the 1st and 2nd days cash received. On the third day of the month the report should contain the 1st, 2nd and 3rd days cash received, etc. By the last day of the month the report should contain all the cash received for the month, listed daily.

Hi priya,
From the sounds of it, this would just be a standard report listing out the date and the cash received in rows. As the database is updated, the report will bring in the new values when it's run.

Hi,

Priya,
Let me do some testing on this and get back to you.

Priya,
One way you can do this is with filters. I used the sample database and limited customer payments to the beginning of the month of the date specified in the parameter to the parameter date. All I did was create a parameter called "Date" and create 3 filters to filter the data down to the month of the date entered. You can see the filters in the attached screenshot.
Hope this helps.

If you have lots of data, the filter solution may take too long for you. You can also achieve this within your query.

It opened for me just fine when I clicked on it in the thread. Not sure why it won't open for you. However, the query way I was talking about will probably work best, especially for lots of data. birtq sent a sample of how to do that in your other post:<br />
