Unable to load query eventho I can preview

Hi,

I have just completed my first report.
I changed the query and changed it back to the original state.
Now the report does not work.
The oracle query works, I can preview it in Dataset.
When I run the report, it generates an error saying unable to load the query.

How do I troubleshoot and debug the report design?

Hi Herman,

What version of BIRT are you using? What all do you have in your report design? Just a table? With changing the query and dataSet, you may have changed the bindings on the table and have some bindings that don't exist anymore so it's having problems with your query. You might try going to the binding tab in the property editor for the table and make sure that all the bindings are correct. Or just delete the table and re-make it.
