Sorting of string data containing NULL values

Hi all
while sorting a string column which contains nulls i am facing an error.
"An error happen during population of data. This might be caused by including data of mixed type in a column of "ANY" type"
could u please help on this issue.

Can you attach your report design? What version are you using?

By appending ?emptyStringsConvertToZero=true to connection database. You can get rid of the error can not convert BLANK to Double as well any problem in sorting.
