Remove Drill-throughs within Excel

I have an end-user that wants the drill-through link in an Excel file removed that would be normally placed in a given cell. This Excel file is created during the export process in BIRT. They are wanting each cell that would normally have a link, to be just a normal cell without the any links or hyperlinks. Is this possible?

I have looked high-n-low and am not able to come up with a resolution. Again, the goal would be to have an Excel spreadsheet without the hyperlinks in it. Although if the BIRT report has hyperlinks, to keep them.
