Drilldown Reports using BIRT

Hi, I have worked on Actuate versions 6,7 and 8 but do not have exposure to BIRT. How can I go about building drilldown reports in BIRT that gives a tree like structure(explode and contract feature) to the report without using hyperlinks. Thanks

BIRT does not do expanding and collapsing of groups on its own. However, Actuate's Interactive Viewer on top of BIRT allows you to expand and collapse groups along with several other post report rendering features. You may have used the Actuate Viewer when you used the Actuate products.
