Catch Exception which is shown in a report

Hello,

I have the problem that a exception is shown in one of my reports. My reports gets the data over a web service. Sometimes it could be that there is no data which comes over the web service and on this moment the exception is shown in my report. I want to catch the exception and to say in my report there is not data. How can I realize that? Thanks for some hints ;-)

Where is the exception displayed in your report? In your table? Or does it pop up? Can you include a screenshot?

Can you send me the entire stack for that exception? Click on the '+' and copy all of it. Also, what version of BIRT are you using? I'm using 2.3.1 and didn't get an exception when no data was returned by a query to a web service report example I got from the devShare.<br />

the fact is that there is a kind of performance test and it should possible to show approx. 9000 tickets in the report, at the moment by 300 tickets the report is function very well at the moment I'm searching for the max. number of tickets which will shown in the report.

When there are to many tickets this exception will come up.
