Problem building a chart

Hi everyone 
 
I am trying to build a doble split bar chart, this is a chart with 2 bars per division in x-axis and every bar split by various categories but I can't find a way to do it, I will appreciate if anyone can help me.

Hi MiguelG,

I don't think that a chart like that is possible with BIRT. I could be wrong, but I can't think of a way right off the top of my head. What does the data look like in the dataSet?

As data set I am using a txt file and the current structure that I have is something like this:

month,serie1,serie2,serie3,serie4
Jan 2008,1,2,3,4
Feb 2008,5,6,7,8
....

I have found a temporary solution building 2 split bar charts and then joining them in Paint, I know that is not the best way but at least works jejeje.

Yeah, I definitely can't think of a way to do that with BIRT. You could always enter an enhancement request at <a class='bbc_url' href='http://www.eclipse.org/birt/phoenix/reportabug.php'>BIRT: Reporting Bugs and Requesting Enhancements</a> and see what they say. Be sure to describe what you're wanting in detail and include screen shots like you did in this thread.
