CCI for Transition Task

Have any of you tried CCI (.../iw/webdesk/transitiontask?taskid=...) to bring up the task transition screen? I can bring up the screen, however, after I click the OK button, the task screen does not response.

What is the OS/browser/JVM of the client and what is the OS/TS Version of the TeamSite server.

I *think* the task transition uses launchpad. (Can someone else confirm this??)

Depending on the version of TS that you are running, launchpad may not be compatible with the browser/jvm you are running. That could be causing the hang.

We are using TS 5.5.2 on Windows 2000 Server. I am using IE6 to invoke the CCI. We are using LaunchPad Application. When you say launchpad, do you mean lauchpad applet? Is the task transition only work on the LaunchPad Applet?

I don't remember for sure - but I think that the CCI links require the use of the LaunchPad Applet not the Application - Is there some reason why you can not switch to using the applet in your environment?

We are still using LaunchPad appliction because most of our users are used to the application...

I just changed the iw.cfg to enforce using LaunchPad Applet instead. And the CCI for the Transition Task works now. Well, I think we have to force our users to use LaunchPad instead.

The launchpad applet is the supported way to import files. I think this change was made in 552, but I could be mistaken. Any folks out there still using the application shouid begin transitioning off, since the next release of TeamSite won't work with the application at all.
