Charts issue

Hi ,

I have an issue regarding exporting chart with data into excel format.My problem is ,I want to export charts/Graph into excel format(file) and it should not be exported as image or picture.It must be live chart so that if i make any change in exported excel data it should reflect the exported live excel chart.

Let me know the solution and tool which will provide the same feature.

Hi Rajesh,

Right now, the built-in XLS emitter with BIRT does not output the chat and I think the Tribix emitters will output the chart as an image. If you need a real spreadsheet output with formulas and charts, then take a look at the e.Spreadsheet Designer on this site. It can output reports as XLS that contain multiple worksheets, charts, formulas, macros, etc.
