How to generate preview log

Is there any way I can generate a detailed log when I preview the report during the design phase.

My goal is to look at the complete generated query as it runs during the preview phase.

To answer my own question - one way of doing this would be to modify the

/eclipse/plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer_<version>birt/WEB-INF/web.xml

and change the BIRT_VIEWER_LOG_LEVEL to the FINEST.

The generated query can then be viewed in the logs generated in <eclipse_workspace>/.metadata/.plugins/org.eclipse.birt.report.viewer/logs/
