i m using BIRT for quite long time now<br />
but didnt able to find <br />
how to take valeus from user and send it to database<br />
<br />
Ex.<br />

if i hav name field with me and i m showing it in reports<br />
but in some situation i want to show it in reports and then ask user if he wants to chnage it to some other name. if user wants that, v need to change database value.<br />
