Functions in beforeFactory not available in JBOSS

I have deployed an instance of BIRT 2.3.1 into JBOSS and now reports that worked in eclipse no longer function. Specifically, JavaScript functions I defined in the beforeFactory event hook no longer seem to be available to the report. I am using the functions in a group header. I attached the stacktrace I am getting.

So, other reports work on your deployed BIRT instance in JBoss? Just not the ones with functions in the beforeFactory method?
