DB2 issue: Cannot get the maximum number of queries for the data source

Hi all
I can create a datasource for DB2 and test connection works successfully.
By running a query I get the following error message:
BIRT exception occurred.
Plug-in Provider:Eclipse.org
Plug-in Name:BIRT Data Engine
Plug-in ID:org.eclipse.birt.data
Version:2.3.1.v20080829
Error Code:odaconsumer.CannotGetMaxStatements
Error Message:Cannot get the maximum number of queries for the data source.
odajdbc.CannotGetMaxQuerie
SQL error #1: DatabaseMetaData information is not known for server DB2DSN09010 by this version of JDBC driver
Driver version:
java -cp db2jcc.jar com.ibm.db2.jcc
IBM DB2 JDBC Universal Driver Architecture 2.5.59
Does anybody know how to fix that?
Any help is very much apprciated.

Switching to the latest jdbc driver (V3.6) solves the issue!
