BIRT Popup messages

Hi,

My question is related to how we can customize the message strings that appear in the message box prompts in BIRT.

Example:

We have certain report parameters that are mandatory to be entered.
On not entering them BIRT shows a pop up with a message like
" The parameter 'xxxyyy' is required "

How can I customize this message?

Any help will be appreciated.

For the parameter page, you'd have to create a custom jsp parameter page. Then you could control the warnings and validation, etc. This post in the devShare talks about getting started with creating a custom parameter page:
