Column width strategy?

Hello.

When i put a table and would like collumns to adjust, without specifying exact sizes - how to do that?

I know that problem is not trivial, but all I want is to specify a set of columns with a 'make as narrow as possible without row break in data' and some to be as wide as possible

Hi kretes,

I don't know that there is a way to do that. I can't think of any way at this time. The best way to handle your situation would be to plan for the largest possible width needed in the "smaller" columns and set those as fixed widths and leave the others unset to let BIRT auto-size them.
