Actuate iPortal & Apache
amit5094
Hi,
We have installed Actuate iPortal on a server where only port that is accessible on that server is the usual 80/443(Apache). Now since we would need to access the tomcat through apache. Is there defined way(how) to do it. Or would i have to go through the usual ApacheHTTP/Tomcat configuration.
Is there an alltogather different solution for the problem.
Thank you in advance,
Amit Jain.

Hi Amit,<br />
There are a couple of different ways I have achieved this in the past using:<br />
mod_rewrite (<a class='bbc_url' href='
http://httpd.apache.org/docs/1.3/mod/mod_rewrite.html'>Apache
module mod_rewrite</a>)<br />
mod_jk (<a class='bbc_url' href='
http://tomcat.apache.org/connectors-doc/generic_howto/quick.html'>The
Apache Tomcat Connector - Generic HowTo - Quick Start HowTo</a>)<br />
