BIRT Store Madness

Hello,
Thirty minutes ago I spent nearly $3K on the eSpreadsheet Engine license. No email thank you. No download links. No license information. No details on what I can expect. No purchase history in my birt online account. No contact sales support email. You simply took my money and left me in the dark.
So I downloaded the trial and I got the email thank you for the trial before my download was 1% finished.
So what gives? The lack of information only leads me to think the worse.

Birt staff was very attentive to this ticket, but not send my my license. Instead I've been told that the store both didn't collect or verify the necessary information to complete the purchase. In 2008 if you online store can't handle that then I can only think this is intentional and that it's a modern day version of bait and switch.
The very reason I used the online store was to avoid contact with sales people, yet now I find myself being forced to deal with them, and choose not to. You simply lose the sale.
From BIRT sales staff:
I need a couple more pieces of information to complete the transaction.
1) Do you want physical product shipped? Shipping is right around $ 50. Electronic download is free.
2) Our products have license keys. You bought a license for 1 designer/sdk and for a single cpu core on a server. For your developer machine and single cpu core server, I need the following details so we
can create a license key for you.
Type of Machine/Server (brand):
Number of CPU Cores:
Speed of CPU (mhz):
Type of Chip:
Operating System:
Admin Email Address:
Machine Name (if available):
Machine ID (if available):
The phone number from the order was not complete.

I can assure you that the salesperson who emailed you was only asking the questions about your hardware so he could create the license for you and would not have tried to sell you anything else. I appoligize that your transaction did not go smoothly through the online store process and we appreciate your candid feedback as we continue to improve the site.

Hello Rick,
Again, I apologize for the delay in the online ordering process. We are investigating the issue and are striving to put in place a truly seemless online ordering system. Right now, we're not there, particularly with our license keys.
I sent you two emails and tried to call you but the phone number you provided was not complete. I have not received a reply from you. To create a license key, I need the additional data. This is not a bait and switch.
