ppt emitter & issues with VML in PowerPoint 2007
Brian1
Hi,
I am having an issue with the ppt emitter and PowerPoint 2007.
The ppt emitter in BIRT 2.2.1.1 produces a MIME file that contains Vector Markup Language (VML). When I open the generated ppt file in PowerPoint 2007 and click Save, the VML is re-written to include Cascading Style Sheets (css). If I close I re-open the ppt file, all of the text is gone. This is a very similar issue to Microsoft's KB318389.
Are there any other ppt emitters that produce the PowerPoint BINARY instead of the MIME file with VML? I have looked at Tribix on SourceForge, but it didn't seem to help my situation (now that doesn't mean I didn't make a mistake in installing it).
Has anyone else encountered this issue?
Thanks,
-Brian
