Report got deleted on closing

I created a report with 2 charts. (just testing) I got an error, I did not know what the error was. by the way, how can we know what is the error???

Anyway, I closed the report then I tried to open it and it was gone. Yes it was deleted from the directory. I have no clue what I did wrong and if this is a known bug.
I hope it is me and the tool is dependable.

I have not heard of this issue before. What version of BIRT are you using? Did this happen just once or is it a repeat issue?
