BIRT - Pass Multiple Values in a Report in Parameter
mbsolar
I am trying to set up a report parameter in BIRT that I can either select one column value or run wide open for that column, as well as pass multiple values for column if choose to enter multiple values in the combo box field.
I have tried setting this up as a combo box with a selection in the list for all selections ("All Counterparties") , by listing all the possible column values in the value field of "All Counterparties" as such "AZUA, BPEC, MSEG..." or "AZUA||BPEC||MSEG..." . I also tried entering the latter in the direct entry field of the combo box to no avail.
I'm not sure of the syntax for entering more than one value into the selection field or if what I am trying to do is possible.
I am using BIRT version 2.2.2
I would appreciate any help that someone can provide.
Thanks,
Mike

Hi Mike,
So you want to be able to select a value or values from the parameter box or have an option for "all" values?

Thank you for your reply.
To answer the question in your reply below.
Yes, I am trying to be able to select a value or values from the parameter box or have an option for "all" values. Is that available?
Thanks,
Mike
