How to generate a spider chart using BIRT

Hi,<br />
i need to generate a <strong class='bbc'>spider chart</strong>. i.e i need to create a new custom chart component. i am new to BIRT. <strong class='bbc'>can any one help me in how to do this?</strong><br />

In this spider diagram, i need to display the result of a survey. <br />
<br />
Every question will have its associated answer value(in 0-5 scale). <br />
<br />
In ths diagram, i need to draw a spider containing no of partitions.<br />
Partition count is equal to no of questions in the survey.<br />
<br />
i need to display the scale from 0-5 on each access. <br />
<br />
Then based on the answer given by the exam taker, i need to plot the points and connect them with lines.<br />
<br />
<strong class='bbc'>any links that will help me in creating this custom chart component is appreciated.</strong><br />
