BIRT - Error(s) from Preview tab ...

Guys & Gals,

I'm currently having a niggling problem with BIRT 2.1.2 running in Eclipse 3.22.

Whenever I try and create a report and then try to preview the results in the Preview tab, I receive one of both of the errors below:

(i) This program cannot display the webpage

OR

(ii) Navigation to the webpage was canceled

Any thoughts on why I am getting this and/or how I can get past this?

I assume you have tried the restarting Eclipse, but you should also check the setting for BIRT that controls which web browser is used for the Preview. Take a look at the settings in Window | Preferences | Report Design | Preview

Yes, I tried re-starting BIRT, but to no avail.

I decided to un-install and re-install BIRT and that appears to have fixed the problem (at least for the time-being).
