Deploying Birt Engine In A Standalone Java Application

Hi all.

I am trying to build a java application that has the report engine built in it.
What i want to do is set the engine home within the application that i will be deployed. I don't want to set the engine home outside it.
how do you do this.
any hints or examples, anything would be very welcome.
