min folders needed for birt?
Mathematic
I just got WebViewerExample to by installed under jetty server with no problem.
Can I rename or move the webcontent directory to another location in my webapps folder without creating problems?
Also Under my WEB-INF I have
01/07/2009 05:43 PM <DIR> .
01/07/2009 05:43 PM <DIR> ..
01/07/2009 05:30 PM <DIR> attachments
08/22/2008 02:47 PM 371 jrun.web.xml
01/07/2009 05:30 PM <DIR> lib
01/08/2009 10:37 AM <DIR> platform
08/22/2008 02:47 PM 41,913 server-config.wsdd
01/07/2009 05:30 PM <DIR> tlds
08/22/2008 02:47 PM 1,334 viewer.properties
08/22/2008 02:47 PM 5,992 web-template.xml
01/08/2009 10:37 AM 5,864 web.xml
08/22/2008 02:47 PM 349 weblogic.xml
I am wondering what is essentially needed for birt.
Can I get rid of a the attachments , jrun.web.xml , platform ,web-template.xml,weblogic.xml ???
Basically it would be nice if under WEB-INF I could have only lib , tlds , viewer.properties , and web.xml without loss of functionality.

Short answer is no. Webcontent is currently hardcoded in the example viewer source. The platform directory contains the birt plugins so that has to stay as well. You should be able to get rid of the .xml files that are not in use.
