Install Documentation differences

I am in the process of installing MAM-V7.1 and getting the BIRT Report Designer integrated and working. I have two sources of documentation to guide me through the process. "MAM71_Report_Development_Guide" and "IBM Tivoli Reporting for Enterprise IT and Asset Management 7.1 - Student Exercises".

In the Student Exercises to configure the environment for BIRT the step is to copy the mxdatasources.properties file, in the Report Dev Guide the file is mxreportdatasources.properties. Which is correct?

Anyone? any thoughts?
