authority levels and visibility of fields

Hi

We store in database user logins and define their authority levels.
would it be possible that a user without some access gets a complete report but the fields are crossed or blacked out so the values are not visible?
Can it be set up with the use of parameters?

Hi natashenka,

If you have access to their "authority level" you can change the visibility of anything in the report based on that. You could also use custom data items in your tables to display the value or "N/A" or something like that depending on their authority level.
