how to create the complex .rptdesign file using birt api

Hi All,

I am new to BIRT. i am able to create the simple .rptdesign file by using birt design api dynamically based on user input but i need to create complex design file that will take the data from the table using sql query and create the .rptdesign file.

I am able to successfully connect to database and execute simple query.
I need design rptdesign with Report Header, Page Header and Data with so many condtions and validations

please help me if possible and please send me some sample code which implements all these features.
