Date in BIRT Report title

Greeting,

I want to add a current date into my BIRT Report Title, like "Inventory on Order As 01/26/2009'. I tried to add function in there but didn't work.

Hi M,

You can add a Text control, switch the drop-down to HTML, and then add:

Inventory on Order As <VALUE-OF format="M/dd/yyyy">new Date()</VALUE-OF>

I also meant to add that if you are adding the date into the page header or footer on the Master Page tab, then there are some helpful date controls you can drag into the report from the Palette
