Chinese text in DCRs

Hi All

I m trying to publish chinese text in teamsite.
i have added following charset
<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=gb2312">

instead of this one

<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=iso-8859-1">

Still it is displaying junk in HTML on preview

can anybody help ...wat else do i need to configure to render chinese text in teamsite

Although you have specified gb2312 as the encoding for your page in HTML, by default the pt compiler will continue to encode the output in UTF-8. There are a couple of ways to fix this:

1. Change your charset to UTF-8.
2. Change the pt configuration to output gb2312. You can do this by editing the iwpt_encoding.ipl file under $IWHOME/local/config to return GB2312.

(You can also pass this information into the pt compiler as a command line param if you are doing this in the script; but this is not possible through the UI.)

Note that although the pages of various encodings can be created in Templating, DCRs are always stored as UTF-8.
