Problem when creating a web service data source with BIRT 2.3.1

Dear all,

I coded a simple web service and added a birt data source with it, it worked fine with version 2.2.2 but not 2.3.1. I also tried the latest stable version, it didn't work either.

I observed that the web service wasn't hit at all when trying with version 2.3.x. Has anyone successfully configured a web service data source with BIRT 2.3.x? or is it a known defect with the new versions?

Hi Haibo,

I just ran a report with a Web Services DataSource, that was created in BIRT 2.2.x, in BIRT 2.3.1 with no issues. Are you getting any error messages or anything?
