Rowspan for crosstab group header
Shafeeque
For crosstab reports, if the group values are repeating, the rows will be merged by default. Is there is any way to set rowSpan=1 always, so that the group values are repeatable.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Shafeeque,
Can you explain your situation a bit more for me? Based on what I read here, a table with groups may be what you are looking for instead of a crosstab.
The crosstab is designed to consolidate like things together but it will also support multiple levels on each dimension.

Thank you very much for the reply...
In my case we are trying to create a report for displaying the flight load details for different class for a day, the final report will be like in the attachment. In the attachment you can see that the flight 2000 is repeating. and in birt flight 2000 will be displayed just once (rows will be merged).
I think this situation is perfect for a crosstab, because the grouping (capacity, booked etc.) and the sub classes(J,Y etc.) are dynamic. The report is working perfectly except for few minor issues like this. Is there any way to control the rowspan for crosstab?

Your crosstab levels need to include the grouping that will make the row unique. In this case, it looks like you have a new row based on a unique combination of FLIGHT, FROM, and TO. If you have these 3 grouping levels on the left side of the crosstab, then you will receive one crosstab row for each unique occurance of those.
