Do Actuate reports translate easily to BIRT?

We want to go with BIRT when we upgrade to Maximo v7 and we have lots of custom reports.

The Actuate reports you were using with previous versions of Maximo are not directly compatible with BIRT... however, with the latest version of Maximo, there is a way to use your existing Actuate reports... and BIRT reports which also run on Actuate servers.<br />
