how to create a filter on table bounded on a "report item"?

Hi,

I have a question: how to create a filter on table bounded to a "report item"?

In Report Designer the filter options are disable, so how can I create a filter after bound a table to a "report item"?

This is because if I bound all my reports elements to a Data Set, the query is executed several times, so I have read that if I bound the Data Set to a Table and after bound my report elements to that table the query is executed only one time. But the filter options are not enable.

Does somebody tell me how can I do filters?

I'm using Eclipse Platform
