Birt Viewer and Scripted Data Source
ZuberS
Hi to All Birt Lovers,
I am trying to integrate BIRT with my RCP application. After all failed attempts I finally gave up and the reason is,
- I tried Report Engine in RCP View to generate report and it worked perfectly fine. Report Engine and scripted data source goes well simply setting classpath in EngineConfig makes life easy, however this ease comes with BIG compromise "Report being Interactive".
- I also tried WebViewer which gives everything a report needs but setting up scripted data source is really hard. Here is the reason - I don't want to copy my POJO to WEB-INF or any directory.
Please tell me is there a way to achieve this? Can we some how pass classloader to webviewer to search classes from the application's classpath?
