Unable to connect to sybase database

Through eclipse am able to connect the same and run the report but when I try to deploy my report in birt viewer (tomcat) I get following exception:

org.eclipse.birt.report.engine.api.EngineException: An exception occurred during processing. Please see the following message for details: Cannot open the connection for the driver: org.eclipse.birt.report.data.oda.jdbc. Cannot load JDBC Driver class: com.sybase.jdbc2.jdbc.SybDriver.

I have copied jconn.jar in tomcat lib folder. I have also created sample jsp to test the same. It connects to db fine via jsp.

Any thoughts/solution?
